The UP30 cable pulling winch is a proven and reliable model from the renowned Italian company OMAC Italy, designed for professional laying of underground transmission lines and fiber optic cables. Thanks to its efficiency and versatility, this model is highly regarded – it is the most frequently chosen winch in Poland and throughout Europe.

The device features a single-circuit hydraulic drive system that allows for smooth speed adjustment in both directions using an intuitive control panel or remote control.

The pulling force of 30 kN (3 tons) is provided by durable capstans made from a single block of solid steel, without welds or joints. The monolithic design ensures maximum durability, precision, and load resistance, while the multi-groove surface guarantees reliable rope guidance.

The cable winch comes standard with:

• Lightweight and compact design with a fully metal housing featuring high-quality paintwork and easy access to spare parts;
• Easy-to-use DEG 4.0 control panel with smooth, electronic hoisting speed control*;
• Tensometric pull force measurement guaranteeing measurement accuracy of 1-3%;
• Hydraulic negative brake stopping the rope from returning to the winch. The rope guide roller can be adjusted 360°;
• IP65 standard component protection. The machine is additionally grounded with surge protection and an emergency machine shut-off switch;
• 4-point anchorage point and central lifting eye for lifting the machine;
• 4 fully galvanized, mechanically adjustable supports for securing the machine during operation. Rear supports with adjustable angle of inclination;
• Temperature and hydraulic oil level indicator; enlarged oil cooler in the hydraulic circuit;
• Reliable rope reel consisting of a diamond shaft with follower with a high-strength guide;
• The equipment also has an automatic reel winder for winding the rope with a removable reel;
• System for easy servicing in 60 minutes. Stainless steel tool box;
• Remote control on a 10 m cable for controlling the winch (037.2);
• Approved chassis (006.4) on a suspension axle with a braking system, overrun brake, and handbrake. Adjustable drawbar with support wheel, ball or eye hitch (optional);
• Rear beam with license plate, LED lighting, and quick release.

Main functions of the DEG 4.0 control panel

Each OMAC production machine is equipped with a DEG electronic recorder with a USB port for recording all data as option 069.2 – this gives the user the following main benefits:

• Display of tension force, speed, and the ability to record the length of rope/cable pulled in real time;
• Electronic setting of maximum pulling force;
• Display of operating time, error notifications, and upcoming service;
• Recording and storage of data on a portable USB memory stick, with the option of connecting a portable printer.
