The OMAC Italy hydraulic puller is ideally suited for pulling one rope in overhead line stringing operations is an advanced tool that offers excellent precision and efficiency. Equipped with one hydraulic circuit, it allows smooth speed change in both directions with a single control device, which greatly facilitates the operator’s work and provides excellent control over the line pulling process.

Thanks to this innovative solution, the capstan winch allows you to flexibly adjust the speed of pulling in or pulling the line to the specific situation and work requirements. The operator has the ability to smoothly adjust the speed, which is especially important when stringing transmission lines, where precision and control are crucial to ensure safe and effective operation.

Standard configuration of overhead hydraulic puller:

• One pair of multi-grooved steel capstans fit for stringing one steel rope.
• Machine control panel equipped with built-in electronic instrument DEG 4.0 featuring a 7’’ large graphic colour display and a USB port.
• Maintenance-free load cell reading system.
• Electronic instrument by-pass.
• Safety negative hydraulic brake.
• Chassis with rigid axle, manual brake and detachable drawbar for towing at low speed in job-site.
• Hydraulic back stabilisers and manual front stabilisers.
• Attachments for anchoring and for lifting.
• Heat exchanger to cool the oil in the hydraulic circuit.
• Reel winder fit for a 1400-mm-dia reel, with automatic rope winder.
