Depending on the model, the winches are equipped with capstan spools and a separate collecting drum. Depending on the type of work performed, a drum with a synthetic cord is used to suspend overhead lines and a drum with steel wire wound to pull cable ropes.

When replacing old cables or wires, the device can be used as a drum winch.
