Fiberglass Snake

Fiberglass snake is a product used in the manufacture of cables that is laminated with German-made synthetic resin. To increase its strength, it is covered with a double braid of mesh dipped in resin. The glass fibre is also coated with polypropylene to reduce friction during operation and increase abrasion resistance.

Threaded ends and a guide head and shackle are supplied with the fibre, making it easy to work with. The fiberglass is wound on a vertical or horizontal stand, which is galvanised and powder-coated in a variety of options for durability and corrosion resistance.
