OZONING

Ozonation is a method of disinfection without the use of chemicals in which the natural disinfector is ozone. Its main advantage is safety, efficiency, ecology and economy. Ozone effectively removes unpleasant odors, leaving the air free from bacteria, fungi, viruses, allergens and other pathogens.

WHAT IS OZONE?

Ozone is a gas composed of three oxygen atoms. It has a fresh smell of air after a thunderstorm and a bluish color. It is non-flammable (however, it has the property of supporting the combustion process), dissolves well in water, and is quite unstable. It is formed naturally in the Earth’s atmosphere, it can also be produced by appropriate devices, e.g. our ozone generators. The ozone they produce reacts with organic compounds (mold, fungi, viruses, bacteria, allergens) and completely destroys them, returning to the form of oxygen and water. When ozone comes into contact with another molecule, it decomposes and releases an oxygen molecule, which neutralizes the chemical compounds as a result of combining with them. This reaction is called ozonation, as a result of which the air and other surfaces remain clean, fresh, free from viruses, bacteria and other compounds dangerous to health. Ozonation not only disinfects, but also quickly removes all unpleasant odors.
